EMN Transcription Services evolved in 2006 from a combination of interesting facets of her work and life experience. Elaine's role as a Research Administrator at Teesside University, Middlesbrough led to her interest in qualitative research and during her role as secretary on the School of Health & Social Care ethics committee, Elaine saw an opportunity to provide a fast and accurate transcription service to her colleagues in a way they found considerably cost effective. Word travelled fast and Elaine soon found herself inundated with work generated from client recommendations.
